GDN is the knowledge and information centre for the subsurface of the Netherlands. The results of 100 years of subsurface research, stored in databases and subsurface models, can be used by businesses, public authorities and private individuals to ensure the safe construction of harbours, wind farms, tunnels and buildings, and safe hydrocarbon drilling and CO₂ storage.
