Sovon, Dutch Centre for Field Ornithology

Sovon is a green knowledge organisation in the non-profit sector engaged in data management. It is an association with a board and a membership council, supported by a work organisation of some 65 professionals. Sovon operates the national and regional bird monitoring networks with the assistance of a large network of volunteers (8,000 people who count birds).
