Marine Strategy, Part 2

The Marine Strategy for the Dutch Part of the North Sea consists of three parts. Part 2 (MS2) comprises the monitoring programme and the monitoring plan.

The monitoring programme – Part A of the MS2 – details how monitoring of the 32 MS1 indicators will be carried out.

The monitoring plan – Part B – describes the monitoring cycle, starting from the need for information through to the monitoring plan. For each cluster of indicators, the monitoring plan outlines the successive steps to be taken to produce a workable and affordable monitoring plan.

The Dutch Council of Ministers adopted the monitoring plan on 11 July 2014. View the Dutch document on the North Sea Information Centre website: Noordzeeloket.
